Finally a down to earth - non-Christianese way to meet Jesus....

First, you need to realize some facts:
 
 Fact #1 - There is a supernatural being that created the universe and is ALL powerful, ALL knowing, and present everywhere.  HIS name is YHWH, the GOD of the Jewish and Christian Bible.
Fact #2 - The Holy Bible, is the number one selling book of all time.  GOD has supernaturally preserved this book down through the ages with HIS words intact and true so that you can get help to life's tough problems and so that you can realize a peace that passes all understanding no matter what comes your way.   Even the toughest critics can't disprove this! The Bible is GOD's love letter to you, to me, and to all the human race.
 
Fact #3 - Every one of our physical bodies is going to die, but our souls will spend an eternity in one of two places.  
 
Fact #4 - Your soul is your mind, your will, and your emotions.  Who you are, what makes you different from every other person that has or will walk on this planet.
 
Fact #5 - Eternity means forever and is something most people have a hard time comprehending.   But as an example pick up just one grain of sand from the largest dessert.  Realize that this one small grain represents your life here on earth and the endless mounds of sand represents to a small degree eternity.  Are you getting the picture?  So many of us spend our lives living for the here and now… focusing on that one grain of sand.  We ignore eternity… that vast dessert of sand until it's too late.…  
 
 
Right now you are reading this and it is not too late!  But what you decide to do right now will effect where you will spend eternity.  Don't let pride, stubbornness, or past negative experiences with those who say they were Christians but didn't exercise love in dealing with you stop you from accepting this free gift.  
 
Would you like to spend eternity with your Creator who lovingly knit you together in your mother's womb, who desires to be closer to you than the closest friend you've ever had, and who brought you to this point of time? The Holy Bible tells about a genetic defect in every human and calls this defect sin.  Sin separates you, me, us all from our Creator, GOD.  That is why HE made a way to HIM, but there is just one way.  Some think this idea is narrow minded, but that is what the Bible says.  One way is sufficient.  If you were dying from a snake bite and a doctor offered to give you a shot to counter the venom in your bloodstream and save your life.  Would  you refuse it and say you want a chewable cherry flavor?  NO, of course not!  Yet so many people say to GOD, they want a different way to HIM.  They don't want to take HIS prescription.  
GOD loved us enough to provide a way through HIS only son, Jesus Christ so we can not just spend eternity with HIM, but have life to the fullest here and now.  All you have to do is to sincerely talk to GOD out loud (The Bible says confess with your lips) asking HIM for this free gift:  
 
"Hello GOD.  It's me.  I believe that what I just read is true and that YOU led me to this point in time.  I don't want to spend an eternity without you!  GOD I want, I need, I desire with all my heart YOUR free gift.  I choose to believe that Jesus is YOUR son, that HE came to earth, lived a perfect life, died and rose again for my sins.  I acknowledge that Jesus is the only way to heaven to be with YOU forever.  So please fix the spiritual defect and save my soul with the perfect blood of Jesus that was shed for me!  I will this day to make JESUS of the Bible, my LORD and Savior.  I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.  AMEN!"   (Amen means "So Be It!")
 
Please let us know what you decide and start reading The Holy Bible.  Suggested reading is to start in the beginning, the first book called Genesis and read Chapters 1-9.  Then find the Book of John which is located further in the Bible and read it over and over!
